En La Devesa School Elche, es fundamental una formación integral del alumnado como personas, basada en valores, en la convivencia, en el respeto y la escucha activa hacia los demás creando un ambiente escolar seguro, positivo y agradable.

Por ello, a partir del próximo curso incorporaremos en el Centro “El Programa Kiva”.

Kiva, es el prestigioso programa contra el acoso escolar desarrollado por la Universidad de Turku (Finlandia) que está implantado en la totalidad de ese país habiéndose demostrado con éxito su eficacia. Además, se ha extendido por diversos países de Europa con eficacia.

Este programa tiene como objetivo ayudar a todos los miembros de la Comunidad educativa basándose en tres pilares fundamentales:

  • Formar a los docentes con las estrategias, metodologías y herramientas prácticas para prevenir, intervenir y hacer seguimiento en caso de acoso.
  • Ayudar al alumnado a desarrollar su inteligencia emocional, a reconocer sus propios sentimientos y los de sus propios compañeros y compañeras.
  • Ofrecer a las familias información y pautas sobre detección y colaboración con el colegio en caso de verse en un caso de este tipo.

El alumnado trabajará los contenidos del programa Kiva en las sesiones de tutoría destinadas al plan de acción tutorial, las cuales tienen una frecuencia semanal adaptándose a la edad del alumnado y se realizará en todas las etapas.

El programa   tendrá una duración de tres cursos académicos y ofrecerá a la Comunidad Educativa herramientas y materiales que ayudan a todo el proceso de identificación y tratamiento del problema.

La Devesa School Elche quiere que esta herramienta sea complementaria al procedimiento establecido en nuestro centro sobre acoso escolar.

At La Devesa School Elche, it is essential that pupils receive a comprehensive education as individuals, based on values, coexistence, respect and active listening to others, creating a safe, positive and pleasant school environment.

For this reason, from the next academic year we will incorporate «The Kiva Programme» in the school.

Kiva is the prestigious anti-bullying programme developed by the University of Turku (Finland) which has been implemented in the whole of that country and has successfully demonstrated its effectiveness. In addition, it has been effectively extended to several countries in Europe.

This programme aims to help all members of the educational community on the basis of three fundamental pillars:

  • To train teachers with the strategies, methodologies and practical tools to prevent, intervene and follow up in case of bullying.
  • Helping students to develop their emotional intelligence, to recognise their own feelings and those of their classmates.
  • To offer families information and guidelines on how to detect and collaborate with the school in the event that they are involved in a case of bullying.

 

The pupils will work on the contents of the Kiva programme in the tutoring sessions of the tutorial action plan, which are held weekly and are adapted to the age of the pupils and will be carried out at all stages.

The programme will last for three academic years and will offer the educational community tools and materials that help in the whole process of identifying and dealing with the problem.

La Devesa School Elche wants this tool to be complementary to the established bullying procedure in our school.
